3 THINGS I LEARNT AFTER FORGIVING

We are in the spring mood, let’s talk about a way you can help yourself feel lighter.

In the last couple months, I have had a few people ask me for forgiveness. Which I accepted their apologies, forgave and moved on. I will be honest, this was the hardest thing someone could ask me to do a couple years ago. My old mindset was that, if someone hurts my feelings or just did me wrong, I would cut them out of my life.

I thought that was the best way, but I always felt heavy. I didn’t know any better though. That Nene Leakes (I am a huge  Real Housewives of Atlanta fan) attitude towards friendship and forgiveness was very destructive. If you are watching Real Housewives of Atlanta right how you know what’s happening between Nene and Cynthia. Guys, please watch it so we can talk about it in the comments.

Recently I forgave a few people and have never felt better! I feel light, I feel great! Cheesy Grin!

These are the three gains I have experienced from forgiving. Please remember to only forgive if you are in the right space to do so.

I AM DOING IT FOR ME

I learnt it’s important to forgive yourself. Holding on to anger only hurts you.

CLEANSING ENERGY SPACE

Letting go of all the negative energy that comes with harbouring hate, anger and resentment, will push your daily life into a new direction. You will naturally embrace a new mindset. With this new mindset, you will naturally encourage more positive people and opportunities into your life.

THE PERSON COULD BE GENUINELY THE SORRY

Oh, I have certainly grown from Nene Leakes. I could literally erase someone from my life. If you cross me I would literally take out my high school pencil case and use it all I could.  Erasers were my number one tool. I didn’t grow up in the Harry Potter era but if I did, pass me that wand!

Don’t worry I am longer that person. Guess what? Who knew a person can genuinely be sorry? People can change and it’s OKAY to give them a second chance.

Is it easy for you to forgive?
